What do ya got!

I know some of you and some of what you do, but since we're all here, tell the rest of us what you do....

And since I brought it up, I'll go first.

I'm a composer and producer. I play too many instruments to name here, but I excel at brass instruments (classical, jazz, funk, reggae...whatever), woodwinds (flute, oboe, bass clarinet), and various assorted "world" instruments (turkish oud anyone?) and even a few ancient instruments. I also play lots of vintage analog instruments as well, including a micromoog and theremin.

I'm available to play classical, jazz, funk, hip-hop, house, jungle, bossa-breakbeat, mizrahi, middle-eastern pop, or whatever....

And yes, I occaisionaly hire players for commercial projects.

    I'm a composer as well.

I am not as multitalented as Carvin, but manage to play Clarinet(s), sax, and bits of others such as guitar, piano, whistle, recorder and oboe. Oh, I've got a theremin as well... and the usual computers full of synth plug ins.

I guess I am a classically trained clarinettist and composer, and have worked making my living in film scoring and rock, hip-hop, house and pop music as well.

And, I usually only play for my own projects and those of friends as it keeps me plenty busy. I have no opposition to playing for other peoples projects, its just so far, its been consuming doing friends and my own! Which is a good thing.

I play clarinet in a traditional Middle Eastern/World music fusion performance group. It is way too much fun. I am presently learning to play zurna (and going deaf in the process). I can play my mijwiz, but it sounds bizarre!

Wish I was a profesional, but the lack of promoters willing to pay for live music is terrible. They are only interested in paying ME dancers with a friggin CD player. Ugh and double ugh.
